Pima cotton was created by the U.S. Department of Agriculture about 100 years ago as a method of blending egyptian and pervuian cotton plant species. Named after an American Indian tribe, Pima cotton is heralded for its softness and durability. Basically, it won’t become stiff or rough when you’re wearing it all day like bigbox store polos.
